Italian fashion house Versace presented their new spring/summer 2016 collection today at Milan fashion week spring 2016. This time creative director Donatella Versace took an unexpected turn as she imagined the Versace woman unleashed in the urban jungle.
She focused on masculine tailoring but added a feminine twist with darted, elegantly sculptured waist. Energised animal prints clash and contrast with the attitude of the street, while the color palette brings military palette of khaki, olive and brown.
Craftsmanship adds rich detail. This was a powerful collection that mixes tailoring with sportswear and effortless glamour.
To make the runway even hotter, Brazilian supermodels Raquel Zimmerman and Caroline Trentini made a comeback while L’Oréal Paris ambassadors Liya Kebede and Natasha Poly also joined them for a truly memorable fashion moment.
