The 29th Goya Awards were held tonight at the Centro de Convenciones y Congresos Príncipe Felipe in Madrid (7th February 2015), honoring the best of Spanish film industry. The ceremony was hosted by comedian Dani Rovira. Alberto Rodriguez’s thriller “Marshland” was the absolute winner of the night by winning 10 statues including best film, director, screenplay and actor. Barbara Lennie won the award for Best Actress while Javier Gutierrez was awarded as Best Actor. Legendary director Pedro Almodovar presented actor Antonio Banderas with Honorary Goya. While giving the acceptance speech, Banderas dedicated the Goya “to the person who has paid the most” for his career, his daughter Stella Carmen.
