American fashion designer Ralph Lauren presented his new spring/summer 2015 collection today at New York fashion week spring 2015. He stated: “My women’s collection for Spring 2015 is about an exotic kind of luxury, the spirit of a romantic safari emboldened by luminous colors played against the heritage of pure khakis in sleek and modern shapes. It is a personal style that is sophisticated and timeless.” One of the inspirations was Indian safari and the designer focused on lots of amethyst pieces. The color palette was quite vivid and brought the spring mood – from military green, safari nude tones, yellow, orange, purple and of course the classic black and white color combination was inevitable. Everything was luxurious but subtle luxury not glamz luxury.
