American fashion designer Ralph Lauren presented his new fall/winter 2014 collection last night at New York fashion week fall 2014. The focus was on rich fabrics, winter layering of clothes and pastel colors. Glamour takes on air of effortlessness with sporty cashmere pants, oversized sweaters and standout coats. Artisan details like intricate beadings and Mongolian lamb fur have transformed the classic pieces into elegant show-stopping creations. When asked about inspiration behind this collection, designer stated: “My collection for Fall 2014 is about a pure kind of luxury, a sophisticated ease inspired by architectural shapes in soft, shimmering hues–a nonchalance that redefines glamour for the modern woman.”
