Brazilian fashion designer Patrícia Viera presented her new fall/winter 2016 collection at Sao Paulo Fashion Week. She found inspiration for this collection in the Atacama desert and the catwalk was made of salt, referring to Chile Salt Desert. The focus was on working with leather, not only did she create second skin but also created suppleness and a surprising lightness.
All of which resulted in lots of craft techniques applied, especially parts made from different colored leather straps, and creating stitched fitting blocks. Fabulous leather skirts, jeans and flared trousers with effect of desert sand and slightly golden shine, pale blue suit pants and blouse beige background leaked small hexagons accompanied by print of gold stars.
