Spanish designer Hannibal Laguna presented his spring/summer 2014 collection at Madrid fashion week spring 2014. Inspiration for this collection called “Coral garden” was found in the aquatic nature and more specifically in corals. A garden in the sea which the designer explored through textures, shapes and colors that mimic the secrets of the deep sea “creating dramatic organic forms” , as told in her backstage. Despite this clear reference, staging, music and dresses evoke the 1950-s fashion era in an atmosphere more typical for black film that submarine.
