Gisele Bundchen, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio promoting Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro

Victoria’s Secret Angels Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio are currently in Rio de Janeiro for the biggest sports event of the year, Olympic games. The Games take place from 5- 21st August.

Adriana and Alessandra penned a deal with the American production house NBC and are serving as contributors to the evening program from Rio with the host Ryan Seacrest.

Before the event started, supermodels helped carry the Olympic torch, which was specially emotional for Lima, a native Brazilian from Salvador.

The opening ceremony was quite spectacular. It was held on the iconic stadium Maracana with fantastic choreographies, fireworks, 5000 volunteers, 500 musicians and 200 professional dancers.

Perhaps one of the highlights of the opening ceremony was the appearance of the Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen.

She took a stroll down the whole length of the pitch in a beautiful silver gown designed by Alexandre Herchcovitch, famous Brazilian designer.
The wife of American football star Tom Brady, dazzled everyone with her figure, elegance and grace.

The iconic Brazilian song Girl from Ipanema was playing while Gisele showed why she is considered to be one of the greatest models ever to go down the catwalk.
