The ninth day of the 70th edition of the International Film Festival of Cannes file dressesstarted with more photocalls, screenings, premieres for the movies “Krotkaya” by Sergei Loznitsa; “Bulhandang” by Byun Sung-hyun; “Good time” by by Benny Safdie & Josh Safdie.
Special screening of David Lynch`s iconic movie “Twin peaks” was held.
This year in Cannes it is the premiere for the Safdie brothers, Benny and Josh, best-known for their movie “Heaven Knows What”, as Robert Pattinson leads the way in their thriller “Good time”.
The movie is about a bank robber (Pattinson) who is unable to evade those who are tracking him down. The cast also features Jennifer Jason Leigh and Barkhad Abdi.
“I always wanted to look like I’ve been street cast. Because we were shooting guerrilla style, I was so nervous [about]people finding out about the shoot and paparazzi being there. It destroys the illusion of it,” Robert expressed at the press conference about shooting throughout Manhattan (via Variety). “What I was doing as a person was feeding into the character, trying to disappear, trying to be a ghost in the crowd.”

The amfAR’s Annual Cinema Against AIDS event was also held tonight, gathering our favorite celebrities.
This year, the 24th edition of the event is chaired by Nicole Kidman, Jessica Chastain, Dustin and Lisa Hoffman, Diane Kruger, Milla Jovovich, Eva Longoria, Carine Roitfeld, Harvey Weinstein, Pedro Almodóvar, David Lynch, Vanessa Redgrave, amfAR Chairman of the Board Kenneth Cole, and amfAR Global Fundraising Chairman Milutin Gatsby.

Dutch beauty Doutzen Kroes was also attending amfAR’s 24th Cinema Against AIDS Gala, Cannes, 25th May 2017. As always, the 32-year-old was accompanied by her husband DJ Sunnery James. She was dressed in two tone BOSS gown with form fitted bodice and flowy pleated skirt designed by Jason Wu. Doutzen wore her golden locks down in a choppy layered shoulder-length style and opted for natural make-up to accentuate her striking features.
