American fashion designer Carolina Herrera presented her resort 2014 collection in New York. This collection was inspired by her trip to Singapore which is quite obvious when looking at print of numerous shapes and sizes. The floral prints are in the main focus of attention, going from silk and organza materials to being mixed with navy stripes.
Herrera stated: “I have always put at least one print in my collection, and Resort 2014 was no exception. Finding the right print is a very special process in that they come to me in many different ways. When choosing a signature print for a collection, you must go with what speaks to you most.”
Of course the Herrera signature pieces with classical shapes are still here – A-line ball dresses, A-line skirts and lean trousers.
