Italian fashion designer Alberta Ferretti presented her new fall/winter 2016 collection tonight at Milan fashion week fall 2016. It was all about once again redefining femininity and fantasy through sensual and light dressing.
The focus was on sensual, figure skimming dresses that are free from structure or constraint. Dresses are light, delicate, and enriched with a sense of romance that is never out of place. Ferretti’s signature femininity is classic without the formality of convention. She used delicate fabrics such as lace and silk.
There were lots of references to the boudoir dressing, all of which resulted in lots of lace inserts and drop-waist jumpsuits resembling like pajamas.
