Italian luxury fashion house Prada presented their new fall/winter 2014 collection last night at Milan fashion week fall 2014. Creative director Miuccia Prada found inspiration by the culture references of German avant-garde. The focus was on the play of bold graphic prints and sheer fabrics which resulted in lots of sheer dresses and bold colors on outerwear pieces like oversized long coats. When asked to describe the collection, Miuccia stated for WWD: “I really went bold. I liked this theme. It’s about humanity, it’s about people, feelings, emotion. I wanted to try to transmit that kind of humanity and that kind of thinking.”
