Brazilian fashion brand Triya presented their swimwear spring/summer 2013-14 collection at fashion show during Fashion Rio in Rio de Janeiro. Creative director Isabela B. Frugiuele found inspiration for this collection in: “A strong woman, an intelligent body, a deep soul, the female figure is ahead, the red mouth kissing and yells, the bare chest who seduces and struggle, the look that sees, drives and moves the world”.
The materials used were lycra, reflective vinyl, silk, tulle and metal pipes. The dyed parts of the swimwear were inspired by the work of three professionals: the photographer Helmut Newton (body force) and artists Escher (roses, labyrinths and depths) and Linder Sterling (feminism, transgression).
