All of us ladies have been in a situation when we spend months planing what to wear and which makeup to wear for an important event or occasion. Fortunately, celebrity makeup artist Lisa Eldridge got us covered with her new makeup tutorial.
This is a selfie-proof, pretty and glam makeup look which will photograph really well and can be ideal for any kind of event like parties and weddings. For her model, Lisa choose the gorgeous British model Neelam Gill, who is best known for working for Burberry and Christian Dior.
Lisa started preparing Neelam`s skin by applying Laura Mercier Foundation Primer, which is a lightweight, creamy gel with a universal pearl tint that creates a soft-focus effect to visibly minimize the look of imperfections. After that she started with the eyes by applying Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion which will prevent the eye shadow for getting crease.
To accentuate the eyes, Lisa choose Stila Eyes Are the Window shadow palette in Soul. Encased in exquisite, jewelry-inspired compacts-a precious mix of rose, yellow and white golds-the shadows will inspire intrigue and delight. After that she used L’Oréal Super Liner Gel Intenza to define the lash line.
For foundation, Lisa used Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. Its hydrating fluid glides on seamlessly with a silky texture and all-day, buildable coverage. Next came the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer (NC35) which was applied by just dabbing it in. To enhance the lashes, Lisa used Urban Decay Cannonball Waterproof Mascara and after that emphasized Neelam`s brows with bbrowbar Eyebrow Pencil and Eyebrow Gel.
For a little bit of contouring, Lisa used cream contour by applying Tom Ford Shade And Illuminate (Intensity One). To enhance the structure of the face, Lisa used Hourglass Ambient Strobe Lighting Powder (Brilliant) on the top of the cheekbones, center of the lips, center of the nose and forehead.
For the peachy lips, Lisa first used Urban Decay 24/7 Lip Pencil (Naked 2) and after that applied Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm (Enchanting)and finished off with a touch of Melvita 3 Honeys Balm. After that Lisa added a touch of pink color with Lancôme Blush Subtil (Rose Paradis).
