American fashion designer Oscar De La Renta presented his highly anticipated spring/summer 2014 collection at New York fashion week. This collection started on the runway with classical cut elegant day clothes and which continued into evening red carpet worthy evening gowns and dresses.
As always the focus was on feminine and ladylike dresses and the combination of skirts with blouses or blazers. The dresses went from gorgeous white crochet dress and silky party dress to lavish evening column dress in bright blue color. The classical never-out-of-style pencil skirt was reinvented with the use of graphic black and white interlude of colors.
