As soon as the first rays of the sun came out, we were reminded that the spring is almost here. So we immediately started thinking about new beauty products on the shelves and changes in our everyday, and evening make-up. Our favorite trends we found in fashion shows for spring/summer 2013, where the stylists and makeup artists embodied their visions of spring. Fab Fashion Fix brings you the most chic make-up and hairstyles for the following season.
Minimal make-up look: natural makeup will prevail this spring. It seems that we will have to say goodbye to the blush and bronzer. “Minimalist, clean and shiny”, with just those words Tom Pechaux, make-up artists, described the make-up look he created for Marni show.
Pop of color on the lips: This trend can completely liberate the imagination, and yet look elegant and fresh. Try bright pink color on your lips. The matt texture is the way to go, not shiny but matt. For fans of classical music there is a red lipstick as we noticed in fashion house Prada and Missoni.
Cat eye make-up look: Again the cat eye look is in, but also the variation with smudged eyeliner. While there were examples of the retro inspired looks at Thierry Mugler and Miu Miu fashion shows, the softly smudged look dominated at shows like BCBG, Roberto Cavalli and Lavin.
The bold eyebrows: Strong eyebrows are making a statement again. Backstage at Etro fashion show, makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury went for a “fresh, clean” 90-s inspired look, which she created by filling in with M.A.C.’s Eye Brow pencils in Fling and Lingering.
