British fashion designer Victoria Beckham presented her fall/winter 2016 collection tonight at New York fashion week fall 2016. The collection was a statement of the continuing evolution of Victoria`s personal style and design ethos.
She stated: ” I set out to refine key wardrobe pieces in new proportions developed from my signature silhouettes, techniques and fabrications. Hourglass shapes have been reworked and exaggerated. Soft boned bustiers reminiscent of my very first corset dresses have been introduced in what is a natural development of my original design premise. Colour, texture and print have been set against each other to give a depth and dimension. Balloon volumes, bodices and knits are layered together to create a look for Fall that resonates a new freshness and champions my sense of a strong femininity with boyish undertones.”
