Italian fashion house Versace presented their new fall/winter 2014 collection last night at Milan fashion week fall 2014. Creative director Donatella Versace stated: “Gianni used to collect vintage military uniforms and medals,” which was the starting point for this collection. The focus was on elegant silk dresses and military button motifs, fringed leather, baroque embroidery, chains, Asian details, brass buttons aesthetic ‘army’, puffs boots and the signature Versace mythical Medusa in XL version. This time the cocktail dresses were made of silk and satin, with details such as bias cutting,all of which really emphasized the female sensuality.
