Italian fashion house Valentino presented their spring/summer 2015 collection today at Paris fashion week spring 2015. Creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli delivered very sensual, romantic, poetic and above all thing feminine collection, for which the inspiration was found in the 18th century tradition of the Grand Tour. A journey that explored the art, philosophy and traditions of Italy. The focus was on dresses with intricate details like handmade patchworked flowers and arabesque forms, beading and prints inspired by the sea – starfish, shells and snails. All of this created an unexpected synthesis of dreamy dresses and gowns. Quite poetic.
