Fashion brand Thakoon presented their fall/winter 2014 collection at New York fashion week fall 2014. Creative director Thakoon Panichgul found inspiration for this collection in the nature of the region of Patagonia. When asked to describe this collection he stated: “It’s a lot of layering, things are a bit more wrap-y, shapes are scarf-y. I think tailoring feels really exciting right now. I wanted to mix the all-terrain aspect with pieces that are a bit more refined, goat – because it’s a bit more rustic.” The focus was on lots of layering of clothes, cozy knitwear and mixing of vivid colors, shapes, prints and textures.
