Celebrating its 130th anniversary, Italian luxury jewelry brand Bvlgari presented their new jewelry watch collection named LVCEA, meaning as luminously feminine as it is unmistakable. The name arrived from a combination of the Italian word for light, “luce” with “lux”, the Latin word for luxurious. Taiwanese actress Shu Qi stars as Bvlgari’s first Chinese brand ambassador in a campaign photographed under the lens of Chen Man and in a series of short films directed by Katerina Jebb. Shu Qi stated: “I am fascinated by how the brand is able to incorporate jewellery design into their timepieces. I also appreciate the concept of ‘time’ and ‘light’ which the collection conveys. To me, a beautiful timepiece can always brighten the best of times for women. I am a great admirer of Bvlgari, especially of its long history of being a jeweller to the divas. Every Bvlgari jewel and watch has a story, and each shares a distinctive signature and personality”.
The LVCEA collection combines history with modernity, and function with design. A rounded case, its lithe foundation, and a spectrum of styles make LVCEA as luminously feminine as it is unmistakable. Based in Rome, Bvlgari house was among the first ones to ever use color in their high jewelry design. A lucent gemst one is set into the crown of every LVCEA timepiece creations incorporates, found in 12 styles and ranges from a steel version to the pink gold+pavé diamonds.
