Victoria’s Secret Angel Sara Sampaio wows in the new Victoria’s Secret photoshoot. This Portuguese beauty showed off her toned enviable figure, olive skin and beach hair waves in a series of photos where she rocks everything from the newest VS Swim designs to beach cover-up and sexy lace lingerie.
The 24-year-old recently shared her biggest tip for making sure you don’t get pesky tan lines: wearing a very small bikini. While she was in Melbourne, Australia, recently for the Kookai autumn/winter 2016 show, Sara revealed that she has to take precautions when at the beach because her olive skin means she tans very easily.
She stated: “I tan very easily, but I always wear SPF50+ sun cream, however, I still go very dark brown. This means that if I’m at the beach, I wear a smaller bikini to avoid too many tan lines.”
How did it all start for Sara?
She entered a Portuguese modeling contest at 15 and they instantly realized she had potential, but thought she was way too young, so they told her to come back the following year, she recalled in a YouTube interview. When she came back to the same contest at 16, she won and was signed by a Portuguese agency and “that’s how it all happened,” she said. “This little contest.”
In 2014, Sampaio was named the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue’s Rookie of the Year, which made her the first-ever Portuguese model to appear in the issue.
She was named as one of the ten newest Victoria’s Secret Angels back in April 2015.
