French fashion house Saint Laurent unveiled their new spring/summer 2014 collection at Paris fashion week spring 2014. Creative director Hedi Slimane found inspiration for this collection in the 1980-s grunge and rock&roll style. The focus was on super sexy skirt suits with lots of details like ruffles and embellishments.
The modern rock chick came alive on the runway, which was so perfectly embodied by Edie Campbell when she opened the show. WE`ll all have to get used to the idea that the old signature style of Yves Saint Laurent house is gone, now Slimane designs for the elevation of contemporary desires of shoppers.
