American fashion designer Reem Acra presented her new fall/winter 2014 collection at New York fashion week fall 2014. She focused on her signature red carpet dresses and gowns but this time with more contemporary embellishments.When asked about the inspiration behind this collection, designer herself stated: “Journey of an elegant woman through a night in Paris.” So she played with different textures and materials, from lace and satin for eveningwear to wool on daywear coats. One of the standout pieces was the black dress all covered with black feathers, which made it look a bit like a costume and this is new for the designer.
