American fashion designer Prabal Gurung presented his new fall/winter 2014 collection at New York fashion week fall 2014. With this collection designer celebrates his vision of femininity and sensuality. The focus was on intentionally deconstructed garments, chiffons that wrap the body creating original designs, strategically placed openings and plenty of different colors. There was lots of play with proportions, for example the looks where models wore chunky scarves and pashminas over oversized coats and capes, while under that there were skirts and dresses. Also we were surprised to see that there were no boots in this collection, although intended for colder season, all models wore ankle strap sandals.
