American actress and humanitarian Olivia Wilde stars in the new H&M Conscious exclusive collection for spring/summer 2015. Made with sustainable materials such as hemp and organic leather, this collection combines style and awareness. This season, everything from beadings and sequins to leather and silk is either recycled or organic.
Inspiration for the collection is found in African, Indian and Japanese cultures, and strong prints and beautiful beadings are key. Creative advisor Ann-Sofie Johansson, who has led the work with the collection, stated: “It feels very luxurious with great attention to details like beadings and embroidery. It’s elaborate, thought through – and very beautiful.”
All garments are exclusively made from materials like organic silk, leather, linen, and cotton, recycled polyester and lyocell, making it one of H&M’s greenest collections ever. For the first time, even beads and sequins are recycled. Ann-Sofie hopes this collection can show consumers and other retailers the great possibilities sustainable materials give, and dispel prejudice against them.
H&M’s most elegant collection, with gala dresses and glam jumpsuits as key pieces. The whole collection is available in around 200 H&M stores worldwide and online since April 16th 2015.

Ruffled Lyocell-blend Dress ($59.95 ) – Sleeveless A-line dress in airy woven fabric with a slight sheen. Three layers of ruffles at neck and at armholes, with center ruffle in different, contrasting fabric. Racer back with covered button at back of neck. Side pockets and raw-edge hems.
Long Beaded Dress ($299) – Long, fitted dress in beaded mesh with V-neck at front and low-cut scoop neckline at back. Narrow shoulder straps and raw-edge trim in crêpe chiffon. Chiffon lining.
Light beige Sequined Dress ($299) – Sleeveless dress in sequined chiffon. Low-cut V-neck at front and back, diagonal hem with wide flounce, and chiffon lining.
Tiered Chiffon Dress ($129) – Long halterneck dress in asymmetric tiers of chiffon crêpe. Narrow ties at neck and open back. Slit at front, longer back section that forms a train, and concealed back zip. Lined.
Sequined Dress ($129) – Sleeveless dress in glossy satin with sections in airy crêpe chiffon, embroidered at front with sequins made from recycled plastic. Deep armholes, and narrow-cut back section with concealed zip, and slit at hem. Lined bodice.
Lyocell-blend Jumpsuit ($79.95) – Halterneck jumpsuit in thick satin made from Tencel® lyocell and wool. Open back, wrap-style front, and wide tie belt at waist. Side pockets, wide legs, and concealed back zip.
