Luxury fashion house Mugler presented their new fall/winter 2016 collection tonight at Paris fashion week fall 2016. Creative director David Koma delivered very structured collection with mosty body-con silhouette. He stated for WWD: “I thought how this kind of seasonal aspect is shifting,” he explained backstage. “I was thinking it would be interesting to use much more softer and fluid materials in a part of the collection to balance the hardness of the other part. It was kind of something really new for me.”
Black color was dominant all through the collection, and also the use of leather, satin and mesh as dominant materials. The focus was on loose fit black trousers paired with long sleeved top with leopard prints; one-shoulder black dresses with thigh high slit; gladiator skirts with corset waists.
