Italian fashion house Max Mara presented their new fall/winter 2014 collection at Milan fashion week fall 2014. Classic prints, classic greats and Anglo-Scottish inspiration innovated and revisited into a distinctly modernist, boyish, profoundly metropolitan collection. The focus was on sophisticated tailoring on outerwear – from mannish oversized coats made of tweed and with lots of patchwork to classic trench coats, camel coats and vests. Other outstanding pieces were quilted cardigans and cozy sweaters combined with croco skin pencil skirts and flared above knee skirts.
