Fashion brand Marchesa presented their new fall/winter 2016 collection at New York fashion week fall 2016. Creative directors Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig found inspiration for this collection in the work of artist John Singer Sargent, who mostly painted women from high society.
All of which resulted in glamorous dresses, regal and powerful above all other things. The focus was on floor sweeping gowns with sparkling embellishments, velvet florals and layers of tulle. The color palette brought mostly golden, silver, beige, burgundy and powder shades.
