Spanish fashion house Loewe presented their new spring/summer 2016 collection at Paris fashion week spring 2016.
When asked to describe this collection after the show, creative director Jonathan Anderson stated: ““I’m interested in leather techniques and innovation, I want to work with that, and to sharpen the edge. I wanted the bags to articulate the look, to electrify it.”
He certainly have gave an unexpected spin with this collection and it was obvious from the first look – model wore off the shoulder knit sweater combined with a pair of plastic-wrap trousers and clutch bag, but what stole the attention was the golden necklace.
This was the perfect move to take a step forward from the tradition of combining Loewe leather goods with tailored coats, as we were used to seeing in the past from season to season.
