American model Kendall Jenner (IMG) stars on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar magazine US, May 2017 issue.
Photographed under the lens of Camilla Akrans and edited by Tom Van Dorpe, the 21-year-old channeled her inner Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis for the cover image.
Inside editorial “Pure Couture” brings Kendall posing in lavish Couture dresses from Armani Prive, Givenchy, Valentino and Versace.
Kendall recently faced strong media backlash after the disastrous Pepsi commercial, showing her handing a police office a Pepsi at what looked like a ‘Black Lives Matters’ demonstration, and according to the media the young model has lost millions in future potential endorsement deals.
Here are the most interesting parts of the inside editorial:
On her love life: “I’m not marrying anyone. I’m not engaged. There’s nothing long-term or serious like that in my life… I’m doing my thing. I’m having fun. I’m being young.”
On attempting to maintain some privacy in her life: “More than the rest of my family, I guess. Just ‘cause I think it’s powerful. Plus, I think people always want what they can’t have. It’s nice to have some mystery.”
On being less of a girly-girl than her famous older sisters, Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé: “I’ve always been the different one. I mean, I’m a girl and I like being a girl, but I’ve just never been into it like they have. I think I get that from my dad. I’d say I’m more of a Jenner than a Kardashian.”
