Fashion label J. Mendel presented their new fall/winter 2014 collection at New York fashion week fall 2014. Gilles Mendel’s signature luxe-femininity and effortless elegance once more took over the runway. He stated that inspiration for this collection was found in the costumes of the Ballets Russes. The collection started with colorblocked outerwear with geometric prints and fur details. The fur gave feel of luxury and opulence. For the eveningwear, Mendel designed gorgeous draped gowns while the details included embellished with crystals.
