Brazilian fashion brand Iódice presented their spring/summer 2013-14 collection at fashion show during Fashion Rio in Rio de Janeiro. Creative director Valdemar Iódice found inspiration for this collection in the meeting of characters Lolita, Vladimir Nabokov, and Susan in the movie “Desperately Seeking Susan”.
The materials used were leather, tulle, silk, satin, and neoprene Albene. The color palette includes black, white, mint and rose colors. The focus is on gowns that appear sometimes sexy, sometimes naive. The fair sexy opposes the fluid in soft tones. The silhouette is more clean, uncomplicated and very light, not only in dresses but also in pants, shorts and jackets.
