French designer duo Max and Lubov Azria presented new Hervé Léger by Max Azria spring/summer 2016 collection at New York fashion week spring 2016. Celebrating the 30th anniversary of Hervé Léger brand, they decided to keep most desired “bandage” dress and its figure flattering silhouette but without using any single bandage. This time the trick was done by using crisscross netting technique, fringes, bold patterns, prints, floral appliqués on tank dresses and by also using woven cords. The dresses came in soft powder, nude, beige and pearl tones. Wanting to also find a new direction, they introduced elegant flared pants and cropped pants which perfectly elongate the legs. Their spokesperson stated: “The collection focuses on innovative surface design and textured patterns that are the culmination of hand-weaved techniques like macrame, knotting and intricate appliqué work”.
