French designer duo Max and Lubov Azria presented new Hervé Léger By Max Azria spring/summer 2015 collection last night at New York fashion week spring 2015. They found inspiration for this collection in the notion of Japanese women warriors called “onna-bugeisha”, which resulted in lots of kimono inspired shapes, patterns and prints. The was a particular play with fabrics and textures – elastic patterns mixed with lively prints and metallic details for “armor” inspired impression. The iconic bandage dress was also once more reinterpreted, this time is has corset closure at the bust.
