Italian luxury fashion house Gucci presented their new fall/winter 2016 collection today at Milan fashion week fall 2016.
As he gave us hints over Gucci`s social network profiles as well as over his own Instagram account, creative director Alessandro Michele had a few references for this collection – Catherine de’ Medici, Renaissance, 80s Italian and French couture. The whole show was titled Rhizomatic Scores, a reference to the philosophical theories of Deleuze and Guattari.
There were lots of psychedelic 1960-s inspired patterns, the focus was on ruffles, pussy-bow blouses, printed scarves, rainbow tulle skirts, leather dresses and one-shoulder gowns.
Our favorite look from this collection was a tulle dress embroidered with sequin snakes, paired with knuckle rings with spiked pearls.
