French fashion house Givenchy presented their new fall/winter 2014 collection at Paris fashion week fall 2014. Creative director Riccardo Tisci said that he wanted to celebrate “femininity and rocker side of each woman.” And so he did, with an amalgam of aesthetic references that resulted in a fun, flirty and very strong collection with ultra-feminine silhouettes, quite softer than we usually expect from him. The focus was on sheer feminine sheer dresses with soft prints, high waist pants combined with tailored coats, fur coats and jackets. Tisci was obviously influenced by the styles from the 1940-s old Hollywood glamour. The front row was full of celebs, most notables were Rihanna and Kanye West.
