Italian fashion designer Giambattista Valli presented his spring 2016. new spring/summer 2016 collection at Paris fashion week. Instead of designing again his signature full-skirt dresses, this time Valli found inspiration in the 1960-s and 1970-s which resulted in more flowing and looser silhouettes. This was a very romantic and youthful collection as he focused on chiffon gowns with floral prints and ruffles, chiffon blouses with balloon sleeves, suits with cropped jackets and trousers, A-line coats and bohemian floor length dresses. All of which with lots of intricate embroideries and lace appliques.
American “It Girl” Gigi Hadid closed the show wearing a floor length bohemian yellow dress, we can safely say that that look emphasized the spirit of the whole collection.
