Italian fashion designer Giambattista Valli unveiled his new Haute Couture Fall 2015 Collection in Paris. The ninth in his series of couture collections, was inspired his eccentric muses, extraordinary women like Talitha Getty and Peggy Guggenheim. Valli obtained his education from one of Rome’s Vatican schools, during a conservative childhood. By the time he was in art school he sketched copies of drawings made by Yves Saint Laurent. He began to comprehend how a silhouette gave a designer a certain identity This is where art and craftsmanship meet fantasy and designer dreams. The focus was on lavish gowns with voluminous skirts, figure fitted lace dresses with peplum details, layers of tulle and floral prints. This time he also gave his interpretation of the pantsuits – stitched with organza pom-poms end flower embroideries.
