The third day of the 70th edition of the International Film Festival of Cannes started with more photocalls, screenings, premieres for the movies “Okja” by BONG Joon Ho,”Jupiter’s Moon” (Ls Lune De Jupiter) by Kornél MUNDRUCZÓ, “Faces, Places (Visages, Villages)” by Agnès Varda & R, and “Alaka Kaf Ifrit (La Belle Et La Meute)” by Kaouther Ben Hania.
American entertainment company Netflix came crashing into Cannes on Friday morning, under a cloud of controversy and debate, with the premiere of its first in-competition feature, “Okja,” a special effects epic directed by Bong Joon-ho about a girl who tries to save her giant pet pig from an enigmatic corporation.
“Okja” features Jake Gyllenhaal, Tilda Swinton, Lily Collins and Paul Dano.

The Festival de Cannes also gave a tribute to Jeffrey Katzenberg, producer and co-founder of Dreamworks, presenting him with an honorary Palme at the gala dinner for Film Industry Professionals which was held tonight.
