American fashion brand Cushnie et Ochs presented their new fall/winter 2016 collection at New York fashion week fall 2016. Creative directors Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs found inspiration for this collection in the work and style of American film actress and dancer Louise Brooks who is also know for popularizing the bobbed haircut, they stated:
“Toulouse Lautrec meets high wire tension with hints of the sideshow demimonde. Women who risk. Women who fly. Women of the circus. We imagined Louise going on this traveling circus tour.”
