British fashion house Belstaff unveiled the lookbook for their new fall/winter 2016 collection as part of London fashion week fall 2016. The collection combines the rich heritage of the Belstaff house with cutting edge technical innovation.
Creative director Delphine Ninous focused on the power of outerwear but used luxurious materials and leather finihings. She found inspiration in the work and style of American journalist and historian called Edith “Jackie” Ronne, who in 1947 became the first woman to make an expedition to the Antarctic.
The signature biker jacket was softened by pairing it with playful sheer skirts; there was a camel cashmere jumpsuit, coat with faux fur inserts, leather pants with quilted inserts.
