Fashion brand BCBG Max Azria presented their new fall/winter 2016 collection at New York fashion week fall 2016. Creative directors Max and Lubov Azria found inspiration for this collection in the legacy of David Bowie, American music-performance show “American Bandstand” and the movie “Flashdance”. Bowie`s two songs “Fame” and “Let’s Dance” were playing in the background as the models walked the runway.
The focus was on the art of layering asymmetrical clothes and the feeling of being comfortable. There was kind of modern bohemian and gypsy vibe all through the collection. All of which resulted in futuristic jackets combined with cut-out details on leggings, oversized fur coats, cozy knitwear paired with maxi skirts, crepe slip dresses, wool coats with fur lapels and bomber jackets.
We can safely say this was yet another perfectly coordinated and great collection from Azria duo.
