French fashion house Balmain presented their new spring/summer 2014 collection at Paris fashion week spring 2014. Creative director Olivier Rousteing found inspiration for this collection in the 1980-s fashion and style. The focus was on texture, from quilted jacket and skirts to beaded and chainmail check. The outerwear brings bomber jacket with boxy shoulders. The prints included houndstooth and gingham motifs and the leather was inevitable part of almost each look.
Rosie Huntington Whiteley closed the show in quilted white skirt combined with sheer long sleeved top. Of course, the audience was delighted.
