Designer duo Mark Badgley and James Mischka presented their new spring/summer 2014 collection at New York fashion week. The inspiration for this collection of dreamy and elegant evening dresses was found in Jacques Henri Lartigue’s 1920s photographs of women lounging around the French Riviera.
So the silhouette in dresses was kind of mermaid shape and also dresses in column shape, all of which gave the dresses a feel of timeless elegance. The color palette ranged from pretty creamy and pastel colors like soft peach and baby pink to aqua colors and the inevitable combination of white and black color.
