Another Haute Couture fashion week kicked off with the Italian luxury fashion house Versace presented their new Atelier Versace fall/winter 2015 collection last night in Paris. The show as held at Palais Brongniart, which used to house the Parisian stock exchange, and featured an elaborate runway of 30-metre long glass case housing 25,000 freshly cut orchids. Creative director Donatella Versace found inspiration for this collection in the iconic music festival Woodstock and the culture surrounding it. She stated: “There are two faces. We wanted to show the softer side of Versace. For me a corset represents the toughness of a woman”. Donatella went out of her comfort zone as she presented more feminine collection which exuded ethereal, sumptuous and sensual vibes. The color palette was focused on beige, grey, light white, baby pink and soft turquoise tones.
