Well in the past week, we were all quite surprised with the unexpected release of Beyoncé’s self-titled fifth album on 13th December. There were no previous announcements and promotions. The album features fourteen new songs and a music video for every single song is already released. The album hosts a few guests including Jay Z in song “Drunk in Love”, Frank Ocean in “Superpowes”, and Drake in “Mine”.
After her alter ego Sasha Fierce, with this album Beyonce brings her new alter ego called Yoncé and presented her in featuring video. Fierce, sexy, erotic are probably the words with which will every human will describe this video. Directed by Ricky Saiz and filmed in Brooklyn, “Yonce” features models Chanel Iman, Jourdan Dunn and Joan Smalls.
Director Saiz described this video with the following words: “Lo-fi and aggressive aesthetic. Voyeurism and kind of erotic sexuality rather than overt sexuality.”
