McQueen is back in London! British luxury fashion house Alexander McQueen presented their new fall/winter 2016 collection at London fashion week fall 2016.
Instead of the usual dramatic and raw creations, creative director Sarah Burton found inspiration for this collection in nocturnal obsessions, poetic images and the art of surrealist artists.
The focus was on lots of leather pieces – dresses an coats embroidered with large shimmering butterflies and lip motifs; tailored tuxedo jackets and flared pants, skirts with feather details and boudoir-inspired dresses with lacy bras.
The final looks brought gorgeous and beautifully crafted see-through gowns with silver moon and gold star intricate embroideries. It was craftsmanship at its peak.
