Brazilian swimwear brand Agua de Coco presented their new spring/summer 2017 collection last night at Sao Paulo Fashion Week. Creative director Liana Thomaz found inspiration for this collection in the Amazon part of Brazil, its flora, fauna and culture.
Their muse, Brazilian supermodel Isabeli Fontana opened the show and we also had the pleasure of seeing renowned model names like Caroline Ribeiro and Emanuela de Paula on the runway.
The brand wanted to accentuate the nature and beauties of Amazon through its designs, which resulted in lots of prints, ethnic and nature motives. Also there was lots of craftsmanship involved like the use of silk threads, floral and leaf embroideries.
