Just one more day to go until the probably most anticipated fashion show of this year, the 2013 Victoria’s Secret fashion show. The pre-show preparations are in full swing so more and more details about the show are becoming public. About 40 models will walk the show and Candice Swanepoel will open the show, wearing the Royal Fantasy Bra. This year’s Royal Fantasy Bra and matching belt are adorned with over 4,200 precious gems from around the world including rubies, diamonds, and yellow sapphires. Handset in 18-carat gold, the bra also features a 52-carat, pear-shaped ruby in the center.
The show’s creative director Sophia Neophitou-Apostolou stated: “It’s almost like writing a play or a good novel, Sophia explains. “There has to be a lot of color, good characters, moments were it’s romantic, and moments where it’s playful. Unlike other fashion shows, here you have vignettes that take you from one place to the next and you have to be quite mindful of how they’re going to link.”
Together with the regular Victoria’s Secret Angels Adriana Lima, Doutzen Kroes, Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel, Lily Aldridge, Lily Aldridge, Behati Prinsloo and Karlie Kloss; the following models will walk appear on the runway Izabel Goulart, Elsa Hosk, Lais Ribeiro, Barbara Fialho, Jourdan Dunn, Jessica Hart, Caroline Brasch Nielsen, Hilary Rhoda, Ieva Laguna, Jasmine Tookes, Sui He, Joan Smalls, Constance Jablonski, Magdalena Frackowiak, Jacquelyn Jablonski, Maryna Linchuk and Toni Garrn.
This year the newcomers include Malaika Firth, Ming Xi, Josephine Skriver, Kelly Gale, Sigrid Agren, Devon Windsor, Martha Hunt,Sara Sampaio, Cindy Bruna, Monika Jac Jagaciak, Maria Borges
and Kasia Struss. Unlike last year, ex Victoria’s Secret Angel Miranda Kerr will not walk the show this year.
This time the show will include music performances from Taylor Swift, Fall Out Boy, A Great Big World and Neon Jungle. So the recording year’s Victoria’s Secret fashion show will be tomorron, on November 13th., while the broadcast will be on December 10th in the U.S. by CBS.
