Pull&Bear’s new collection for summer takes the season’s most outrageous trends and adapts them to the brand’s fresh, young and laid-back style.
American folk mixes with flashes with an oriental inspiration. Together with the traditions of America’s Deep South, influences from India, the Middle East and North Africa form the basis for the ethnic collection, characterized by beads, stonework, the hand-made look and a brilliant combination of prints. Off white, khaki, tan and navy blend in with orange, plum and ivory openwork knits, tunic dresses, jewelled plush tops, panelled blouses and denim, decorated with a wealth of details such as braiding, tassels, fringing and ribbons.
The more romantic side to the collection can be seen in the openwork dresses, wax finishes, lace edging and stonework, teamed up with bleached denim, nude and ivory tones for a contemporary, urban yet also dainty look. Plush tops and T-shirts are the key items in this trend.
Ceramic prints have burst onto the fashion scene, positioning themselves as a summer must-have. White, navy and mid-blue join forces with indigo to take the more sober looks by storm, with positional prints everywhere to be seen on shirts, tops and trousers.
Also big is the classic black and white combination, which this summer will be seen on stripe prints, text print T-shirts, cropped skinny legs and skirts that are more mini than ever. A tribute to vintage style for an excitingly new and cool collection.
